They really are
man’s best
friend and we
have many, many
looking for a
loving, caring
permanent home.
Some or our dogs
have had a rough
start in life,
some have been
abandoned or
neglected, some
have been
abused. Some
have known the
comforts of a
home and love of
a family and are
now missing
their former
life. We believe
every dog
deserves a home
and strive to
find every one
of the many dogs
in our care a
home and a
loving family to
call their own.
You can see some
of our
dogs by clickingHERE,
and you can meet
them in person
(or in canine)
at our shelter
in Carencro
(just outside of
Lafayette)
by
appointment
during the week
or on weekends,
this way we can
ensure we have
time to dedicate
to you and your
family.
Our
Philosophy
We seek to make
the best
possible match
between you and
your new
companion, to
ensure a
lifelong
commitment. We
do our best to
match the
animal's needs
and temperament
with the
adopter's
lifestyle.
We reserve the
right to deny
adoptions. Our
priorities are
the health,
safety and
future
well-being of
the animals in
our care and the
health, safety
and expectations
of people who
visit us with
hopes of finding
a pet who will
match their
interests,
lifestyle and
existing
companion
animal(s).
We do
require a
fenced-in yard
for our dogs,
unless you live
in an apartment
complex.
Our adoption
process
starts with an
adoption
questionnaire
(you can
complete it
online below)
which will help
us to learn more
about you and
the type of dog
you’re looking
for, so that we
can best match
you with your
ideal pet.
Our Fees
All of our
Puppies and Dogs
are spayed or
neutered and
up-to-date on
age-appropriate
vaccinations.
They’ve been
tested for
Heartworms and
treated if
necessary. And
they’ve received
excellent
veterinary
attention while
in our care.
Adoption fees
are $150 for
each dog or
puppy.
