Welcome to our Guardian Angel Program
Chanel's Story....

 Chanel is a beautiful Runner, with all the grace and speed of a gazelle. She loves people and their affections; she will sidle up to you and gently nuzzle your hand as an invitation to pet her.
A more beautiful dog you have not seen. Her coat is a gorgeous sleek and shiny red

But she wasn't that way when we received her: Chanel was literally skin and bones and was soon diagnosed with heartworms; in fact most dogs we receive require heartworm treatment.

We never know when an animal needing this level of care will enter our doors, but thanks to the Guardian Angel Program, we can begin his or her rehabilitation, knowing the had the support we need.

Who are Lafayette Animal Aid's Guardian Angels?
Our Guardian Angels are critical to us. This very special group of people make automatic monthly donations  to Lafayette Animal Aid. Because these contributions are made on a month basis our organization is better able to plan for the future and to accommodate animals in desperate situations like Chanel.
How can I become one of Lafayette Animal Aid's Guardian Angels?
All you need to do is choose the method you prefer (credit card or check) and pledge an amount. Your contribution will go straight to work, helping Lafayette Animal Aid to rescue and re-home abused, abandoned and neglected cats and dogs in Acadiana.

$25 - Serve Breakfast!       
Your $25 can purchase a bag of healthy dog food every month. 250 Animals eat a lot of kibble and we greatly appreciate the help
$50 - Spay or Neuter a cat!      
Can you believe that an unaltered cat can have as many as 4 litters a year with an average of 4 kittens per litter! Your $50 donation will spay/neuter a cat every month, helping to control pet overpopulation in Acadiana
$100 - Heartworm treatment      
A Typical heartworm treatments costs $300. This monthly pedge could save the lives of 4 dogs a year
$250 - Parasite control    
With so many cats and dogs in our care, bills can mount. We need $250 worth of flea treatment and de-wormer to keep our animals healthy and happy
